If you click on Save As the drop down box has a .cxt option. -
Inputs going negative - below 4ma if you are using 4-20ma devices. The input devices need calibrating up or the analogue card calibrating down.

For the NS15 you use CX-Designer.

Communication between Omron CJ plc and Festo cpx, or with another Omron CJ
BobB replied to Milosh's topic in CX-Programmer
You can - I would just replace the processors with CJ2M-CPU31 - probably cheaper and the CJ1M is getting older now. You would need CJ1W-EIP21 cards. They are needed on a big network due to the amount of data they can transmit but the EIP module in the CJ2M processor is fine for what you require. -

No - built in Ethernet port. Just configure the data links. Say 10 CIO words each way starting at channel 600. 600-609 will be with IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.1 and 610-619 will be with IP address xxx.xxx.xxx.2. I use the default - 192.168.250.1 and 192.168.250.2. -

Yes but getting old now. Easier to use 2 x CJ2M-CPU31 and Ethernet between them. -
Has anyone used the Modbus RTU function block that uses serial gateway on the SCU card? Success - messy - any information welcome. Looking at using it instead of the PMCR function.

Interesting - you never know what is going to cause a problem. We always blame the application - lesson learned for all of us I guess.

Setting up EtherCAT or EthernetIP devices from within PLC program?

How about a cable connector with an auxiliary contact? -
You have to set up the serial card to communicate with the HMI - the conversion is very good but will not do that for you.

Buy CX-One from Omron and update it to the latest version.

The E10 appears in my list. When you select CP1E it defaults to E20 - roll up the selection box and you should find it.
