Presently i ve used Windows XP Home Edition and installed RSLogix 500 and 5000 in my laptop. I ve installed RSLINX Rev 2.50 by followed instruction as normally. And the result, i haven't found any problem. Could you give more spesified what is the problem you found during the installation such as error messages if any, so we can give more spesified solution for you

Its look like that something goes wrong with your windows dll file. Try to removed your licence file to your licence disk. And scan and fix the ntdll.dll file. After that just reinstalled the RSLogix Software. I hope with this you will get lucky. Cheers

Dear all, Yesterday, we've tried to make backup all PLC program by uploading from all PLC CPU SLC 5/04 in our plant. But unfortunately from all and one more to go, we found that 1 of the CPU is could not be uploaded, the message we received is " CPU corrupted" . Any one has the experiences to solve this problem ?

Yup, because i got the same problem also, previously i bought laptop for programming of TSX Micro Modicon PLC, but unfortunately it hasnt rs-232 port, so i decide to use usb to serial converter, and the result is failed. After that i heard from my friends from Singapore that i can use serial port from Belkin Dockstation, and now the problem is solved (its mean i can communicate my laptop programmer with PLC.

Any body know about PID control in Modicon Quantum or PID Control Module which can worked together with Modicon Quantum PLC ???

How if using serial port from Laptop Dockstation. Its ok ???
