Nice work Andrew! What S7-200 simulator is that? Can you share with us?

Hi, I am afraid that you miss the program from the good CPU after switching of the power supply. I understood correct that you have two equipment identical? What is your experience with Step5?
-
Hi kusha02, you changed the modules for which reason? defective or the CPU was already on stop? Have you changed with same type of modules? The PLC battery was in good condition before switch of the power supply? Please explain more about story... dekor.

Hello johneedw, If you need only flashing output, I suggest you to use the simplest way. Use dedicated memory bit SM0.5. I have attached an example for you .

It seems that you talk about menu TD setup accessed from display. Please disconnect the power supply for TD ( if exist separately ) or communication cable in order to generate a restart of TD only. Repower the display and tell us what is written on display 2 minutes after, whitouth touching the keyboard.

The TD 200 display will show what you have wrote on PLC program. It is part of program. Maybe you lost some data... Are you sure that you have TD200? Please make an upload and post here.

Hi A_L_E_X, FUN 47 looks to be Function block defined by user. T/C instruction look to not be for Omron or Mitsubishi... Do you know what is the original PLC? That will help us to guide you.

Did you check on this area?
-
Is the LED of that output ON? Did you notice that Siemens work with PNP not NPN? Is the address that you monitor on software same address as you check on hardware?
-
Hi, Did you use cross reference? It was not enough? Then use cross reference create with PG2000. It is more deep... dekor.

Hello Wish 177, Do you have any experience with other PLC programming activity? What soft you use ? TIA Portal or Step7 and WinCC flexible? First of all is important to understood what type of output modules you have: only digital or you have also analog output. If you have only DO, then you may create on HMI some switches for Start, Stop, Direction, Low speed, High speed. You may create some lamps on HMI that will show status of inverter : Stopped / Running, Error triggered.

Hi, the software is called Microwin. Latest version is 4 and latest Service Pack is SP9. Siemens ordering code is 6ES7 810 2CC03 0YX0. As I found on RS web site the price is around 540 EURO. For sure you may found somewhere even for free. To be connected to S7-200 controller you will need an Siemens converter. Part number for an USB version of that programming converter is 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0. Personally, I create my own converter which is an RS232/RS485 converter. It will work OK for programming. But it will not be good for communications trough modem or other complex communication. dekor.

Hi, the unit that you are looking for, need to be searched as : 6ES7 212-1AB22-0XB0 not ........OXBO. It is a 24VDc powered CPU with 8 DI 24V and 6 DO 24V. The capabilities of that unit you will find on next document: If you think that need more info about S7 200, feel free to ask. dekor. 6ES72121AB230XB0.pdf

Crossbow, I guess you are a bit in confusion. I know LOGO sience many years, it can run for sure on both situations of power supply: 12V or 24V. I agree with you that PPI cable is not suitable for LOGO. To communicate with that 8-th serie of logic controller you only need a standard ethernet cable. dekor.
