Hi everyone, has anyone used OPC Server to move data to Rsview. I find no problem with integer words, but I am unable to setup Ascui strings to display in rsview, there seems to be no provision for ascui in OPC SERVER. Help required !! thanks Smo

Hi there Has anyone ever used Port B, as a scanner port ?, I've set comms. @ 9600 8 1 none, made up a cable to connect to data logic scanner. It does'nt work !! If created a screen on the NS5-TQ00-V2 hmi, using an ascii text input. this nothing regards Smo

Hi one & all, I want to covert ascii to hex, add 1 then back to ascii. After I've scanned a barcode - 30160677KY, I want to add 1 , to achieve, following :- 30160678KY, 30160679KY, 30160680KY, and then print all four (4) barcodes. I require help with maths. thanks Smo

Hi I'm new to Omron PLC's I'm trying to receive data from a welch allyn hand scanner, connected to comm Port 1 on a 'CJIW-SCU21-V1 COMMUNICATION UNIT' Problem #1, I'm not sure of pinout for serial cable, 2 * 9 pin male connector's. Although when connected to the plc, & a barcode is scanned, the RD1 led flashes on comms unit. Problem #2, I'm receiving no data in CJ1M plc, memory area, in program I'm using RXDU(255) using bits A202.02 & 1554.06, I find A202.02 is on continously & 1554.06 not working at all when I operate scanner through comm port #1 please help : Eddie

I'm a bit confused, setting up the ethernet port to use as a programming terminal. I've put in TCP/IP addresses in PC & ETN21 module, I can ping both addresses but thats it. Help I'm new at this. I've read the cx programmer brochures, but there's very little on ethernet networks. smo
