  1. RTU data to SCADA

Sorry the first post wasnt clear. What I need to know is if I have an RTU datalogger on a remote site collecting data every minute and logging it locally on the RTU, how do I then get this logged data integrated into my SCADA package trends assuming the remote RTU connects to the SCADA once every 24hrs? Do I need to look at importing csv files into SQL etc? Thanks
  2. RTU data to SCADA

How do I get time stamped data from a logger/RTU into my trends on an Intouch or similar SCADA? assuming the system connects via GSM every 24hrs
  3. FX3U-ENET

Misthubishi have lots of ENET function blocks and examples on their website under "My Mitsubishi" these are easily followed however they are ony applicable to IEC GX Developer
  4. Use the usb to serial programmng lead and communicate via FSgateway and an older (free) copy v2.4 or v2.5 of OFS (OPC Server). Works great, and at very little cost.
  5. Opc Server

Use FSgateway and an older version of OFS (OPC Factory Server) to talk opc to the SCADA
  6. Faulty license in AuthorsW

First of all transfer all good licenses to another drive or back to the floppy. Just in case you delete the wrong file! You need to be very careful - youve been warned! Go into the root directory of the drive which the faulty license has been installed. Then go to the folder options and enable viewing of hidden files and protected system files, you will then see a folder named "XX ff ZZ". Within that folder you will see the relevant licenses left on the drive, you can either delete the complete folder if you have removed the good files, or remove the files individually using the file name as a guide to the license type. Hope this helps.
