  1. If that does not work, in my experience this is usually firmware corruption. If you have communications to the processor try reflashing the firmware to the same version then download your program to it again. I have had this happen to me on a 5/05 processor and it was the firmware. This might not work, but is worth a try.
  2. Have you tried cycling power to the rack or downloading your program to it again?
  3. Was this running before then stopped or is this a new setup?

How much for the studio 5000? Is it all versions?

  6. ProfiNet questions

Just a note and PTurmel correct me if I'm wrong, If you go with prosoft to use with the Allen Bradley/Rockwell systems, I do believe that prosoft has their own software you will have to buy to make their units work with the Rockwell systems. It is not just plug and play.

  8. Looking for a good USB to Serial (RS232) Converter

You can try the 232 com plus 1 from digikey. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/ftdi-future-technology-devices-international-ltd/USB-COM232-PLUS1/2139294 You will have to get the usb cable seperate. This worked for me on numerous different automation equipment. I can not gurantee it will work with your specific unit, but might be worth a shot. Little note: Be careful when choosing the usb cable as you can choose 2.0 or 3.0. Sometimes the 3.0 cables do not work in my experience. The 2.0 cable would probably be your best bet.
  9. RSLinx Classic Lite

Yes, a backup will have your configuration saved to what it was at the time of the backup. With that many ip addresses it could take a while for everything to update. You could do a fresh install of RSLinx, but this would be a last resort option. You would have to reconfigure everything. You could also try to zero out the packet data or check the communication log.
  10. RSLinx Classic Lite

Also have you tried refreshing the rswho?
  11. RSLinx Classic Lite

Not sure if this helps, but I have had a similar experience with yellow question marks in rslinx. Mine was with the SLC 500 5/05 processors. The reason for it was that some of the 5/05 processors below firmware 10 show up with the yellow question mark in rslinx through the ethernet port, but all functionality still worked. With firmware revisions 10 and above it is not an issue. Can you right click on a unit in the rslinx tree and be able to view anything under it's properties?

  16. It could also be a bad rtc (real time clock) inside the panel. They are known to go bad from time to time.
  17. Let us know how it works out for you.
  18. Thanks Joe E. He should be good and not have to download anything since he already has them in his control flash.
  19. I assume that it should since it is already in there for that controller.
  20. Rockwell has been phasing out older versions of firmware for some reason. They have been doing it for a while now. If you can not get any version of 19 from Rockwells website, then version 17.012 that is in your control flash would be fine. You would just have to have version 17 of rslogix. Version 17 sometimes does not play well with win 7, but I think you said you were using win 10. Joe E...Do you know if the version 17.012 he already  has in control flash would work for that controller? I am not in a spot to look it up right now.
  21. alan_505 is correct. Sorry I should have mentioned that. By looking at your screen shot, it does not look like version 19 is available for the cpu. I assumed you already had it in control flash. Do you have any other firmware revisions in control flash for that controller?
  22. You can also try downgrading the firmware to version 19 and using that. That might help. Just don't use version 20.
  23. Pturmel would be correct. Try just creating a new file of version 20 for a different controller and see if you get that error. I have a win 7 32 bit when creating a file in RSLogix 5000 selecting version 16 for any cpu controller gives me the same error and crashes my whole rslogix 5000 program. Come to find out it is a 32, 64 bit thing with the OS.
