  1. Sometimes I have to do the crlt+at+del routine and select task manger+processes and scroll down until I find RSLINXNG.exe and end that process before I can load the DF1 driver, also I have loaded my PIC driver and reserved it for com 1 then after having it loaded, I del that and then add my df1 driver, I know this is a pain and I am still trying to fix mine, but it will get you up and communicating. Electrode.
  2. 1761-NET-ENIW

Mine will show me both ENI and Panel View Address, I assume you are using a router and you are trying to communicate to your Panelview. So if you if you have Studio open and RSlinx Selected from the communication tab you should see both the ENI and the Panelview if has been added. If not you may need to add your Panel View. Also your Panel View must be setup for Ethernet not DF1.Electrode
  3. One Shot in Latch Command

I am in the wrong forum sorry LOL, lucky for me I also work with Mitsubishi. Thanks for the insight and I can see how the scan sequence would cause problems with the Latch (Set) state and why you would need to us ONS (PLS) commands. But me personally I tried to follow your way in not using ONS (PLS) in the Latch (Set) rungs. Thanks for the (Food for thought) Electrode
  4. One Shot in Latch Command

Why does someone us a ONS on a latch output command, my thoughts are that the latch will come on and stay on until a unlatch command is recieved. I am sure there is a good reason to use this, but I am just not seeing it. Thanks JT B3:20/1 ONS B3:5/1 BST OTL B3:0/4
  5. Allen Bradley PLC/215

Thanks Ken, it is what you said a (plc-2/15 mini PLC-2). This were very popular back in the 80's when Allen Bradley was strictly octal based system, they were basically the same as the SLC 500 as far having a rack and cards etc. Just a lot larger systems I will proably take everyone advice and just bring some one in if the E-Bay help doesn't work. Thanks for everyones help. Electrode
  6. I am wandering if software is available to access the old Allen Bradley PLC/215. I currently have one on a older press and years ago we had a T4 terminal to hookup with. Do you guys know of anything software and communication cables out there that will work on this? Thanks!
  7. Ethernet

Thanks for the input guys, I do understand about the Press vibration causing problems we have several press operations here. Sometimes the higher price ones will do the job better, but for the most part we use inexspensive hub because we really are not relying on them in our production process. I will give the crossover adapter a try. Thanks Again! Elect.
  8. I/O Addressing

Thanks Guys for your help, It makes a lot more sense now that you guys explained why this is done. I can now see the benefit of mapping it this way from the programing end. but I also agree with you Ron that it will cause maintenance more work in troubleshooting and equipment downtime. You guy are awesome! Thanks again for clearing this up for me. Have a Great Weekend. Elect.
  9. I/O Addressing

Here is the File we are working on. The Lad File of interest are 15 thru 18 nest 1 - 4. Thanks Elect 2682_TOYOTABRACKET_RS_02_28_05_.RSS
  10. I/O Addressing

What's crazy is the B bits are not used as aux bits, instead they are used proir to the output conditions. Example would be if I use xio in the start of the rung I don't I:0/1 instead I see B:17.0/1 which makes the rung true. I am not sure how this works and it's all new to me. Also there is no scanner module listed in the I/O config file. Thanks for your response, tomorrow I will post the file and we can look at it. I am sure it is something I overlooked or it is has a simple solution. Thanks Elect.
  11. I/O Addressing

Thanks for your reponse, I am totally confused here. I will have to attach the program in the morning I left it at work. Elect.
