  1. WinCC with Wonderware

    It´s possible to use the WinCC as OPC-server. Wonderware does not support OPC without having Wonderware OPC-client or Factory suite Gateway as gateway OPC/Suite link. Wonderware recomends to install the OPC-link or Factorysuite gateway on the same node as the OPC-server. I have used WinCC as OPC-client to both Wonderware InTouch and Wonderware InsQL(Historian) for four - five years. Works fine.

    DASSIDirect is one IO-server from Wonderware. It acts like an SuiteLink server and OPC-server. I´m using it with suitelink with Wonderware software and with Siemens WinCC as OPC-client in the same plant. BR. Fjellis_ac

    I want to update one installation that has Siemens CP 143 in the PLC-rack and one other type of CP in the PC-hardvare (full length ISA-card.) The I/O-server is Wonderware H1-server. Can I use the Siemens CP 1613 A card togehter with Wonderware Sinec H1, the manual only refers to the CP 1413 which is no longer available? Can I in any way update the network to use modern technology instead of components for AUI/BNC/ThickEthernet Thanks! /Fjellis_ac
