You may have a better chance of getting help if you would explain exactly what PLC you have and what a PT(NS10) is.Generally, the more detail you provde in your question, the quicker a valid answer comes.

NO, your best options are either:1. Replace the CPU with one that has extra serial ports (IC693CPU363) or an Ethernet port (IC693CPU374) 2. Replace 2 16pt. input or output modules with a 32pt module. 3. Add a second rack.
-
I can only guess. It was common back then to use a CPU rack with I/O in it and a Genius Bus module as a 'remote I/O' rack. In this form there would be minimal logic, if any in the CPU. It was only needed to configure the rack. Quite often these were low end CPU311, CPU313 or CPU323 racks, which would give you a full 5 or 10 I/O slots as the CPU is built into the rack.

If you are right this should fix it. moslow_v132.zip The current software is called 'Proficy Machine Edition Professional'. You can get information here: http://globalcare.gefanuc.com/ Other older packages are: LogicMaster 90-70 (DOS) Cimplicity Control (I'd stay away from this one) VersaPro Professional (Windows software but "old")

Start here: http://globalcare.gefanuc.com/

All of the "Cimplicity" software packages (old and new) have OPC Client included in some manner. If it is not installed it will be on the CD. If you have the Citec OPC Server you are all set. BTW, Cimplicity used to be a generic term for GE Fanuc software as stated above this generic term has been changed to "Proficy". The only official Cimplicity that still exists is 'Cimplicity HMI'.

Post a backup of your project here, maybe that will help to describe what you have.
-
Sorry, you lost me here, please explain.

All answers are in the manual that you downloaded. You may try addressing it as "MrPLC".
-
If you do it all right it will.

The cable diagram you need is in GFK-0582 Appendix H, you can download it from: http://globalcare.gefanuc.com/search/glbCareProdManuals.asp You can also find it in other manuals but if you are doing GE Fanuc PLC to PLC communications this is the one you want.

No idea, send this information along with a backup of your logic to support@gefanuc.com and ask them to verify your findings. If they can you may have found a 'bug' if not you may have a bad PLC.

This is a Proficy ME backup file, you "Restore" it from with in PME. I have PME version 5.5 SP2 and SIM8.

VM64_Motion.zip With firmware version 3.6 and the latest Proficy ME software you can use the new motion Function blocks for the 64 point VersaMax Micro. 'Find_Home' 'Jogging' 'Go_Home' 'Blending' 'Stop_Motion' Plus increased speeds on the HSC input and PWM Outputs, which includes DINT use. You do need the DC output version for this. Attached is an example of 'Find Home'. I have a preliminary manual if you need more help than the PME online help provides, but it includes most everything the experienced GE Fanuc programmer will need.

Yes, use the "BIT_SEQ" function, its a 'special' counter that works similar to the Series 1's. In Proficy ME put a BIT_SEQ function in logic, select it and touch 'F1' for help on it's use. Happy New Year!
-
Add to your logic, anywhere, a #ALW_ON ($S7) contact. Don't ask, it's 'MAGIC'. Also remember that each Timer and Counter uses 3 consecutive %Registers.

Sorry, for your problems but GE/GE Fanuc have told us from day 1 that they support IE only and only at specified version levels with Seibel and their web site. Anything else that works is coincidental or purposly by the SW developer. GE is about to re-design so now is a good time to get your $.02 in. I use Maxthon.com it is based on IE so it has never been a problem. I know this does not appease those with MSphobea, but it does what I want.

I'm no expert here and not knowing your layout I am just speculating. Profibus is a "high speed serial, token ring" network typically with this type the Master will read and write to a slave only when the slave has the 'token' and each slave takes turns with the token. Given this the through-put speed is determined by the amount of data (number of bytes) and the speed of the token. What baud are you at, and can it be increased based on the total length and type of wire? This is all layed out in GFK-2121. This is independant of the PLC scan, however the PLC has a finite window to communicate to these 'smart cards' so it is possible that it is taking multiple scans to see all new data. This was cut-n-pasted from GFK-2121A: Supports all standard data rates (9.6K, 19.2K, 93.75K, 187.5K, 500K, 1.5M, 3M, 6M and 12M Baud) • Master devices determine the data communication on the bus. A master can send messages without an external request when it holds the bus access rights (the token). Masters are also called active stations. • Slave devices include motion controllers, drives, I/O devices, valves, and transducers. Slaves do not have bus access rights and can only acknowledge received messages or send messages to the master when requested to do so. Slave devices are passive stations and require only small portions of the bus protoco

Sorry to be the bearer of sad news, but PME does not do 90-20's. And you may need to update some of the oldest CPU's

Try again. Or just show up, they will not send you away. http://www.gefanuc.com/en/forms/pacworkshop.html
