For the Mitsubishi Electric GOT HMI there is a complete sample available in de GT Designer3 software to connect the GOT2000 to the MR-J4-A (-RJ) The connection is running via the RS485. For example you can use the build in point table of the drive, change them via de GOT and run the set positions from the HMI. Sample projects can be found in the GTD3 software, Project > Utilize Data, select Sample Project, Search for J4

Automatic disconnection of VNC viewer from GOT2000 HMI

it looks like it can be set in the GT designer 3 software: GOT Setup, Advanced Setting -
The HMI has to be in transfer mode. Check your programming cable RS232. It has pin 2 to pin 2, pin 3 to pin 3 and pin 5 to pin 5.(not a normal cable where 2 and 3 lines are crossed over). The name of the cable is CAB5. The exact layout is in this manual. https://www.farnell.com/datasheets/1829276.pdf

Did you try to format the PLC memory first? In GXW2: Online, PLC Memory Operation, Format PLC memory I guess there are still old configuration files on the PLC making reference settings towards special modules

The print screen above is coming from the Mitsubishi Electric e-manual viewer. After installing the e-manual software (no licence needed), you can download / add the manuals section by section. (Servo, HMI, Engineering software etc) Info on the GOT added functions: GT Designer3 (GOT2000) Screen Design manual, section 12.17 (upgraded additional function list) https://www.mitsubishielectric.com/dl/fa/software/update/plc/0000000373/e-manual_viewer_127d.zip

Hi Frank, On the D700 side: Pr. 117=0, Pr. 118=192, Pr. 119=10(7, 1stopbit), Pr.120=1(odd), Pr. 123=50 (comm wait time), Pr 549=0 Pr. 340=10 (Net mode on startup) Please note an older GS2107-WTBD does not support RS485. (the new WTBD-N does support) So I connected via the SC-FRPC programming cable on the RS232 port of the GOT. I got here only the old version of the GS2110 HMI. See attached sample I used successfully. Good luck! SmallDemoGS21.GTX

I understand in the CS80 inverter models only 1 type of fan is used for cooling: MMF-06H24SS-CN1

Hiding/Collapsing Ladder Blocks in GX Works 2 Structured/FBD
VeeB replied to Mahonred's topic in Mitsubishi
You are not able to hide parts of the program in the case of Structured LD/FBD. A solution could be to have a separate POU. You can open both POU's and monitor them at the same time.
