Sorry for using older notations, this is my first Contrologix program from scratch and just getting to grips with it. I spent way to many years troubleshooting on Schneider PLCs lol.  I think all I need to do is set the boolean before I do my shift, the value resets before it gets a new value, it is measuring lumber in a sawmill so when one piece passes it resets the length before a new piece passes but each piece needs to be added together to give a daily total.  If that makes any sense 

Hi all, I have an issue where I need to store a value in RS Logix 5000, the initial value is a calculation and the total ends up as F8[6] I need to store this value say "15" somewhere and reset F8[6] as the process continues the calculation runs again only this time say I get "27" I now need to increase the original number "15" to "42"and store it again, F8[6] resets again and this continues on and on through the day to give me a total at the end of the day, but I hit a brain fart and cannot figure it out, I have no issue in a Unitronics or schneider but the AB has thrown me.
