I am putting together a system to control the drilling sequence in a peck style cycle (drill in a few increments before going through part). The servo will turn the drill press spindle and automatically go through the drilling sequence. We have a ML1200 PLC that will be connected to the servo drive using the PLC outputs to the 8 servo drive inputs. I plan to program the rotational distances of the peck cycle to the servo drive using the sureservo software. Would my LL program just be a sequence of events now (trigger each PLC output for the cycle)? This is new to me, so trying to make sure I have everything I need and am on the right track.
