  5. Use SFB

    Do as follows: 1) Open your project in the Step 7 manager. 2) Connect the PLC to your PC and view online. Here you will see all online Blocks, including avalible SFB's and SFC's. Upload the SFB's you want to use. Go back to offline view. 3) Open a Block, f.ex. FC1, in the editor. 4) Open the Overview-window. In the Overview-tree, open Libraies/Standard Libray/System Function Blocks. Here you will se a list of all avalible SFB's and SFC's. Select a SFB, Drag it into a network, add the number of the Instance DB and press ENTER. The Instance DB will be created and the SFB call is ready for programming. For help on the selected SFB, place the Cursor on the SFB-Call and press F1. I hope this will help you. Best Regards baa
