Hi all   Currently having a communication issue between ns runtime and CP2E. I can ping both the PLC and computer the ns runtime will be installed on and i can ping the PLC from the computer with ns runtime. However when i load up ns runtime i get the timeout error. I believe it must be a setting on my part as i get the same issue when i try to run the simulator. See below for my set up. Hopefully it is something small i have missed. I also tried to use Fins with the same outcome.  Appreciate any help on this.

Hi all, I am looking for some help. I am in the process of creating a waste program on a CP2E PLC. I have an ns hmi screen to go with it. could anyone recommend a way to add two values together and retain it. For example: First cart of waste of the day is measured and a move instruction is set up to move the measured value from D1 to D15. Then the second cart is measured and i want to add the two together. D1+D15. This is probably simple and i am missing something obvious but i cannot seem to find a way.  I also want to record the values for a month so basically just add it up then reset. Is there a way to export this to excel or something similar? All help and ideas greatly appreciated.

We do but they like to lock everything down to their own equipment and don't allow us to play with it. I wanted to be in control of this and have made a nice little program that changes shift and separates the machines etc so i would be pained to use them at this point. Any recommendations for a (cheapish) scada software?

Good Morning all   I Regularly use the site for help topics etc. However i cannot seem to find one for this topic. I currently have a set up where i can get online to my CJM1 via factory network to a moxa box then a CS1W-CN226 TO THE plc. This all works correctly and i can monitor the machine from my office. What i would like to do is implement a diagnostic HMI screen, i have created the programme and it all works etc. However would it be possible to use the same moxa and lead as a serial port connection in the same way. So ethernet to the HMI from the moxa and then use the  CS1W-CN226 from the moxa to the PLC. basically the same way i get online now. I do not know if its even possible but any thoughts greatly appreciated.
