  1. I am doing some work on a customer's project with FX3GE-40M PLC and GOT2000 MMI. I have a professional software background and one thing I have learned over the years is how important it is to control software versions and also to be able to display them on any user interface device as required. If at all possible this should be an automated process as mistakes are easily made! In the past I have had major problems with a product where the displayed version number was not the same as the "real" version number. For example, if my development computer knew that the software version was (say) 4.6, then I need to be able to program some part of the PLC (maybe the Extension Registers?) with the numbers 4 and 6 so that this can be read by the MMI. Can anyone advise a way to do this please?   Thanks Paul, UK
