Helo,

I've a VFD connected to a inverter motor. I want to Measure the input power/power factor for the motor , what equipment shall I use? Any recommendation please put here.
Intiallly I planned using an AB Power Monitor 3000 device, but it cannot measure power in a VF application.

Help on this.....

I really like the Dranetz power platform for these types of scenarios. Plus the Dranview software is easy to use manipulate data and generate reports.

Why measure the Input Power/Power Factor between drive and motor. It is the Input Power to the drive and power factor on the input to the drive which will affect your utility and your cost.
