I just purchased a new RSLogix500 and they no longer supply an activation disk, it is done over the internet. I can't find any details on how you would move this activation to another computer after you have activated it. Anyone have experience with this new activation system? Thanks in advance.

When you purchse RSL-500 software you should get one CD contains Rslogix-500, RsLinks and other softwares along with one Floppy which contains Activation/Licence.If you got only CD with out Floppy you cand not run the program where you can install the Softwre by using CD.

If you have Floppy you can move Activation by clicking Move Activation-32 Bit from Utilities from Floppy to any system and vice versa.

The way you describe is the way it has always been, but they've come up with a new activation scheme to take the place of EVRSI. Actually at this point I think the software will recognise either type of activation, but the old system isn't going to work much longer.

The thread from TW was helpful and I did find this: https://licensing.software.rockwell.com/
