Hello,

I have created an Alarm-Status screen using RSView Studio ME.
On the bottom I have placed a Local message display.
When there are active alarms, example 3 alarms at the moment, you can scroll to the 3 alarms.
Now when I selected example Alarm 1 there must automatically
appear some text in the Local Message display that belong to
Alarm 1.
When I selected example Alarm 2 there must automatically appear
some text belong to Alarm 2.
These text in the Local Message display I will use to tell
the operator what to do with this Alarm.
Is this possible?

Greetings,

It definitely sounds plausable.

What do you mean of plausable?

We do it. Local msg 1, local message 2, etc. We have ten lines of scrolling messages. It takes about 40 rungs of code to find, sort and scroll this logic. I would post this logic but I think I might get in some trouble for it. Someone went through some work to do it.

plausable means he pretty is sure it can be done.
