Anybody tell me the desktop PC specification to Install & use All Rockwell Software oops.gif
TWControls
Rockwell Software is not very processor intensive. I would get plenty of memory and try to get one with a serial port. It is nice to have but you can live without it. My current laptop does not have one. I just use a USB to Serial converter. An SD Slot would also be nice.

Other software such as CAD packages will probably have more of an affect of your specification

Have to agree wuth TW on this one. The standard requirements for most Windows OS's will do for Rockwell. Just make sure to check the Compatability Chart.

Nothing in the Specs you lists sticks out as a showstopper to me.

If in doubt try the Logix Trial Download and see if it runs ok.

It's a whole lot faster than what I am running.

Can you get a list of ports off of it?
