Does anyone have any OPC examples from SLC to EXCEL?

for displaying data in excel you can follow these steps.

1) configure an opc topic using RSLinx Pro or OEM by going to DDE/OPC -> topic Config.  Add new and point it to a SLC. Hit DONE.
2) Go EDIT -> Copy DDE/OPC Link.  select your topic and select your data table address you want to monitor and hit OK
3) within Excel right click in a cell and click "paste special".  select "paste link" and OK

you should now be seeing the data refresh in excel.
