Hello im a new user of plc and PV and i want to conect a slc/04 with PV550. Could some body help me to do this.

SLC504 processor has DH+ and serial port but you need to post exact part number of the PV550
to see what communication option would be possible... (2711-B5A5 or 2711-B5A8 for example)

The PV that i have is:2711-T5A16L1

The "-16" part number indicates that the PanelView has a DF1 Full Duplex port as well as a printer port.

It will connect to the SLC-5/04 through the SLC's serial port using a straight-through serial cable. The Help files in PanelBuilder should assist you in configuring the PanelView terminal's serial settings.
