hi, I want to send data from my direct logic PLC to my PC and i need some advice.
I dont know if i need an external module for communication like ECOM100 or i can use the COM port i use to program the PLC.
My intention is to transfer data from the PLC to the PC and save it in a file or a database, i dont need it to be in real time, i could make it once a day or make a poll to the plc.

Hi
You would need a DDE server that used to be available from PLC Direct, they seem to have discontinued this, and now it would appear it is available through Kepware.
