i am working on panel view software, and when i try to open panel builder 1400e (AB) i get these errors:

'no iceutil.dll found' i copied iceutil.dll from RS software/RSview enterprise folder. that got rid of this error, but the next one comes up either way.

'one of the library files needed to run pb1400e cannot load in the 16-bit windows subsystem becuase it is a win32dll.

im running on windows XP.

i have already installed the 841559 hotfix.

any suggestions would be appreciated.

thanks
Smoke
I've had the same problem.
I learnd from this very Forum that if VerasView is installed before PB1400E that the PB1400E software won't run.
You will have to uninstall VersaView install PB1400E then install VersaView again.
IamJon
would panelview32 or rsview cause the same problem? thanks.
Smoke
Oops yes when I said VersaView I ment RSView
Stupidav
And it is a problem that is only fixed with the last couple releases of RSView. 3.20 (CPR6) didn't work at all, but CPR7 and newer, PB1400E must be installed first, then RSView
IamJon
it works now, thanks a bunch.
