Hello,
I have a U.S. Robtic V.92 modem connected to a Micrologix 1500 LRP Series C. I want to be able to connect to the processor from at home. I have tried with rslinx but no luck, i think i am missing something, any help much apreciated.

I wrote a whitepaper on this. You can read it here:

The document is good but having used modems from KY to FL, KY to WA and KY to MN allow me to add a couple of points.

1. If going any distance I'd advise using no faster than 9600. Some switching untis have trouble with 19200.
2. If the PLC is set to 9600 then set your PC dialing modem to that speed as well with an AT command string prior to dialing. This will force the robotics to answer at the desired baud and avoid a lot of problems later on.
