I have a customer that wants to add an alarm dial out system to his Lookout Direct package. I have done this in the past with Win911 and Scadalarm with Wonderware. Just wondering if anyone has done something similar with Lookout Direct and what software package they used.

Thanks

Hi,

You may use U.C.ME-OPC software (see http://www.controlsee.com ).

U.C.ME-OPC may connect to any OPC or DDE server, or any SCADA that supports OPC or DDE server functionality. As I understand Lookout Direct supports OPC server functionality.

U.C.ME-OPC may send alarms/events via SMS(bi-directional), Phone(Voice), Email, WAP, Fax, Multimedia and more.

U.C.ME-OPC uses the Dialogic telephony PCI board(four phone lines), or the Way2Call USB device(one phone line). Using Dialogic telephony you may also dial-in and perform various actions such as: Query-Tag-Value, Change-Tag-Value and more.

U.C.ME-OPC may connect to multiple OPC servers.
