Hi:

I need to have a report in Excel with data in a micrologix 1100. I want to use the Ethernet port in ML 1100.

My solution is communicate ML 1100 with excell trought DDE topic, but this solution is very expensive because i need RsLinx Profesional.

I need a low cost solution. Can you help me ?.

Thanks

Actually if you only need to read from one Plc you can use RsLinx Single Node which is much cheaper. If you need to read from more than one Plc you can use RsLinx OEM which is still a lot cheaper than Professional. If all you want is DDE you should not need Professional in any instance.

There are some people out there writing custom drivers to talk directly to Plcs but I don't know about that method
