How can I calculate the number 3840 at the discret I/O, I think that 1 bit is missing, cos if you make the calculation: 256 elements x 15 bits = 3840 I/O´s,
only SLC 500 5/01 have this number, the other models, (5/02, 03,04...), the number is 4096 (256 elements x 16 bits).
Can someone tell how can I find this number (3840), cos I´ve never seen before a processor with 15 bits...

sorry ... but I don't understand your question ... where are you getting these numbers from? ...
the SLC-5/01 (usually) uses 16-bit words for its I/O table ... just like the other processors in the SLC family ...
are you possibly being confused by the "0 to 15" addresses of the 16 bits? ... that's happened to other people before ...
give us a little more detail ... I'm sure that we can help you out ...

I'm not sure where you are getting the 3840 number from because AB lists the discrete IO limitiation of the SLC 5/01 at 960 points.

16*240=3840
or
16*16*(16-1)=3840
