All,
I am trying to help a customer with a problem thousands of miles away. The program has some problems and needs to be corrected and the customer does not have any kind of programming device.
I am also not sure that the PLC is setup to read an EEPROM on power up.
I sent a replacement EEPROM but the PLC is not reading it and is still running the old program.
Can the status file be saved on the EEPROM and automatically loaded on power up so that when the new eeprom is installed it is automatically loaded.

Kevin,
just something to consider ... maybe the customer could ship the processor back to you for a program download ... you could take care of any EEPROM issues before you shipped it back ...
just a thought ...
