Just wondering what a 1785-ktx or 1785-ktxb card is. I think its a desktop pc dh+/485 comm card, but im not totally sure
panic mode
1785-KTX (series A or B) should be DH+ PC card for ISA slot
1785-PKTX (series A or B) should be DH+ PC card for PCI slot

PdL
I think your right.
A snippet from a Google hit says in German:

user posted image

Translated it says

Rockwell 1785 KTX card, available in ISA or PCI
-Connection cable for online connection to PLC2, SLC500, PLC5, Contrologix, Micrologix, Panelview,
-Pre-installed driver software for online connection to Rockwell devices.

Looks like the PCI/ISA variant on the PCMCIA card.

We use a lot of 1784's

I think that's what you all mean. 1785s include comm modules, but I've never seen a card, and I don't see why they'd use two bullitens for the same thing

Yeah that's what I was thinking, they mean 1784! I wonder where the german image came from?! Maybe it is not "official A-B" and is just a typo? I can't think of any examples of a bulletin 1785 product not being for a 1771 chassis. likewise, bulletin 1784 is always computer-related stuff. (well, you could argue that with the 1784-T30 I guess)

Anyway. The 1784-KTX is an ISA card, allowing you to use ONE of the following comms protocols at a time: DH+, DH485, PLC-2 direct connect

The 1784-KTXD (not B) has two DH+ ports and one DH485. they did away with the PLC2 connection. You can either have two DH+ channels or one DH+ and one DH485 simultaneously.

The 1784-PKTX/PKTXD are same as above, but with a PCI interface instead of ISA.
