We have two units of industrial standard load cell and we want to connect to SLC using Hardy Instrument Module 1746-WS. Anybody have the experience using Hardy load cell module? How about performance?
Thank you

I have used them without any issues but I also use their load cells with the C2 calibration. Also, the tech support is great.

I had good success with them as well. You can use the sample program they provided for free to get going quickly. Some fine tuning parameters for larger scales were not so intuitive but tech support did help us get through it. The module is a little pricey at ~$1600 - 1800.

another option you might look into is using a 1746-nt4 module. I had a test unit set up on a batching scale a couple of years ago and it worked fine for our application. the only draw back that I had to go through was trying to figure out code to calibrate the scale, once that was worked out everything went smooth. ran the unit off and on for about 2 weeks and no problems before the plug got pulled for another option - mainly $$$

Interesting and cost effective idea! Too bad you didn't get to run it longer. I'd like to know how stable it was.
