I recently acquired an output module indicated on the label, door, and circuit board as a 1746-OV16. When I perform an Auto Configure, RSLogix reads it as an OW16. I get an error message when I try to manually configure it as an OV16. There are also a few terminals that are on when I enter the run mode but are not indicated on the Output data file. Any thoughts? Does it need "Module Reassignment Surgery"?

Have you tried configuring as a 1746-O*16, any discrete output module.

This config works with any 16 point module.

Thanks for the advice. I tested and the module faulted. I think it's toast.
