I working with some new Panel View 1000G's, Panel Builder 32 (also new) and some PLC 5's.

After I download the application (over DH+) to a panel it writes the initial values in the push buttons and numeric entry objects to the PLC. This causes a very undersirable interruption in the plant processes. I tried deleting the intial values but this does not seem to be possible. I don't understand the purpose of writing to the PLC's. I would perfer that the Panel View read the current value from the PLC and did not write to the PLC without the operator using the screen.

Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

I think what you will want to do is uncheck the option to write to controller on power up. Check out the screen shot.
