Hello again,

I'm trying to hook up a mini-PLC-2/05 to my laptop so that I can pull the online program from it. The problem is that I don't have the correct card and cable combination to do this. Do you think I could use my 1784-PCMK card and make a 15-pin connector to interface with the processor? Could I use my serial port and a custom 15-pin connector? Or am I stuck paying thousands of dollars for AB stuff. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you have a PCMK card, you can get a cable to connect to the PLC-2 port. It's in the $300 range, not "thousands". If you were on good terms with your local A-B dealer, you could probably borrow one.
