I need to communicate to an SLC 500 Basic Module, and i believe i need a Null Modem Cable.

I've had a look at the pin outs on the following web site.

www.hardwarebook.net/cable/serial/nullmodem9to9.

are these the correct pin outs? because it shows RX to pin 2 at both ends, and TX to pin 3 at both ends.

I thought that the TX and RX crossed over.

Thanks in advance

If you'll look at the page again, they have TX and RX crossed.

According to the following link to AB manual (p.4-10), the cable described at www.hardwarebook.net should work.

Glad everyone is using the hardwarebook.net. I think those guys over there deserve a clap.

Anyway, you can now have the hardware book for download everywhere you go:

Download it here:
