Hi, I have an old version of Logix5 (v.3), and I need to open the attached file, which is V.5. Can anyone convert this for me??

RSLogix 5 is currently at Version 7.30.

I've saved the file in an ".X5" format, which was used by AI-5 DOS software, as well as with separate database files. Any version of RSLogix 5 should be able to open this format.

Version 3 was released in 1997 or 1998, and the file shows that it is for a controller that is Series E hardware, which was manufactured between 1996 and 2005, so it is possible that your software will support the features in this controller, but equally possible that it will not.

Ahhhhhhh AI I love AI software. I didn't switch to Logix until 2003 because I refused to use that windows crap. I was a DOS man thru and thru!!!!!!!!

Now, DOS, pfffff I don't think so.
