Hi,

Can anyone explain the Limit control function of the PID[190]
The PID works fine with the limit control turned off.
My theory is that if I set the Limit control to 1 (C+6, bit 12) and set a value in C+8 then the PID will cointrol the output up to this value.
But, it doesn't seem to have any effect on the MV.

Thanks in advance
Glenn

An update.

It seems that the PID will not accept a new Max Limit until the PID is switched off and then back on.

Seems a lot harder than AB..

All of the PID setup parameters are like this. The P, I & D terms can be set to be updated without a 're-start'.
