shrug.gif Ok I simply can't figure this out....
need to install Wonderware 7.1 on a new machine using Windows XP Pro. Standalone application, no Domain. At beginning of setup, Wonderware keeps asking for a Domain/Machine, User and password. I've tried entering in the Workgroup, Local machine name, both, forward slashes, back slashes, and nearly everything else I can imagine and the silly thing keeps telling me its an invalid Domain name. Probably syntax but I can't find in any of the reference material. Any help? I don't remember having this problem with Win2000 and 7.0.

Thanks,

Try leaving the domain field blank and enter the same username/password which you use to log into windows.

You have to enter a valid addministrator user account with password.
At domain name you have to enter local machine name.

After all, specially for intouch7.1 you have to install SP package before it can run correctlly
