Hello,
I've tried looking up this information, but all I found is that each take a different battery.
Does it have something to do with what series chassis it can plug it into?
Thank-you

The important differences are the battery and the location of the CompactFlash slot. The new battery is coupled with an onboard flash memory chip to provide much longer battery-sustained user program backup.
The /A and /B controllers run identical firmware with identical performance.
