Why does a Micrologix 1500 Input and Output Configuration show 64 bits when there are only 12 inputs and 12 outputs on unit.???
What are the true addresses of the 12 inputs and 12 outputs on unit.???
Thanks

They are the lowest words/bits in the tables. All the micrologix lines do this. I know it's confusing but just accept it.

So the 12 input addresses wil be I:00/00 thru I:00/12 and ignore the rest..??

The input addresses on the base would look like I:0/0 - I:0/11 and the outputs would be O:0/0 - O:0/11.
If you were to add a 16 pt Input card to the base then the addresses would be I:1/0 - I:1/15
Hope this helps
