I have faced difficulties with a program using B&R automation. This machine have a power panel 4PP220.1043-75 and drive acopos.
The problem is that machine reboot without apparently reason and checking the panel logger I saw the cycle time violation on task#1 message.
My doubt is how to check the real time of task#1, once I have increase its limit from 1.6ms to 12ms and the problem which comes increasing its time is that machine cannot be speed up up to its full speed due problems with syncronization.
Any idea or suggestion would be appreciate.

Hello.
What do you have in this fast task class 1. Do you have there only Controll task for Motion? Do you have set synchronization on IF card or CPU? I usually set 10ms for TC1 becouse it is enought for me. You can also start profiler where you see if this task class is ok.

Hello,

If your ACOPOS drives are no Ethernet Powerlink, you need to synchronize TC1 with the EPL bus.
This does not mean they have to run at the same speed. You can run EPL at 400 us. and TC#1 at 4 ms.

Check what tasks are running in TC#1. Can any of them be moved to a lower task class?

Use the Profiler, it is a great tool for this. Make sure to edit the configuration to record at least 10000 entries and select all check boxes.
You can also configure it to automatically save the profile file on the compact flash when the system goes into service mode.
This will tell you exactly what happened when the error occurred.
