Hello,

I have to modify a machine. I have to replace a timer set on or off with only one input.

Now I want to use a Zelio SR2 D101FU to do the job. This will allow us to eliminate lots of wiring.

When I press the Start/Stop it should set the timer to keep an output on for 30 minutes. If I need to I press again the Start/Stop button an this causes the timer to be reset and the output goes off.

I've tried to remember the 2 NAND and NOR circuit....years have passed. And I also tried to make it with the ZelioSoft2. I've failled. And I'm running out of inspiration.

Any body has tips?

I always use FBD, which isn't available on the model you want to use, but it should still be pretty easy. I just did the equivalent of what you want in FBD in about one minute. Basically, use the input to trigger a "delay-off" timer that's connected to an output. A second branch from the same input connects to a inverter ("NOT") gate, the output of which connects to the "reset" of the timer.
