Hi,
I'm setting up a communication using Protocol Macro between a PLC master (CJ1M) and some PLC slave (CP1L).
CP1L PLCs are connected to CJ1M using RS485 and 4-wire cable, as shown on manual W462 at pag. 599. The cable has a RS232 to connect to CJ1M; I need to know how to set the cable connections for RS232 on CJ1M, according to 4-wire cable configuration for CP1L. In other terms: where I must connect the RDA-, RDB+, SDA-,SDB+, FG signal from RS485 into RS232?

Thanks.

If you are using Protocol Macro, you must be using a CJ1W-SCU31 or SCU41, with RS422 on the port.
The built in RS232 port on the CJ1M does not do Protocol Macro.
If this is the case, connect as follows:
SDB+ on the CJ1M-SCU to RDB+ on all the CP1Ls
SDA- on the CJ1M-SCU to RDA- on all the CP1Ls
RDB+ on the CJ1M-SCU to SDB+ on all the CP1Ls
RDA- on the CJ1M-SCU to SDA- on all the CP1Ls.

If you are using the Serial PLC Link between the CJ1M and CP1L PLCs, then you need the CJ1W-CIF11 RS232 to RS422 adapter on the CJ1M PLC.
If this is the case, the wiring is the same as above.

Thanks for reply, I'm using CJ1W-SCU31, now I also found the relative documentation on W336 at pag 113 where are shown the link example.
SDA on pin1
SDB on pin2
RDA on pin6
RDB on pin8
FG to hood.
