Hi Fellas.

Currently, I am attempting to modify a PL-7 program, which makes frequent reference to %IW0.1. This variable is seen in the Variables section of PL-7 application browser; ie. Variables>>I/O>>TSX57203. The program is in a PLC used as a FIPIO agent. Please will someone indicate to me the significance of this status word. It is not seen anywhere in PL-7 help.

Regards, best wishes

see the attachment

I suppose you are installing a TSX FPP 10 PCMCIA FIPIO CARD on channel 1 of the CPU.

You have to search for Language objects in implicit exchange related to the FIPIO Agent communication.

Anyway in my opinion the input register should have been used just for test the healthy status of the CARD/Communication
