I'm looking into using the Wonderware Application Server version.

It appears that you can load up objects with whatever you want on them and distribute them.

So I'm wondering...how "fine grained" does everyone normally organize their projects? For instance, do you define an "object" as a valve, a whole machine, or a whole process line?

More to the point, do you just have one big object with all the attachments set up in Windowmaker (do all your editting as nests of symbols), or several smaller objects on an Intouch screen?

The system is quite flexible so I'm just trying to figure out how others do it.
