Hi

On a site that we service, the sewerage treatment plant is controlled by a Siemens PLC. The starter for a small 2.2KW pump consists of a contactor and a electronic overload that provides information to the PLC via a modbus (i think. purple cable). Ive attached a photo of the overload. (part no: 3UF 5001-3AB00-1)
The problem is that the overload current setting needs to be changed and there isnt a parameter in the SCADA to allow us to do this.

There is a connecting front to the overload on the front of the panel with an RS232 port. I presume i can connect to the overload and change its settings via this connection. Ive also attached a photo of the front. (Part no: Simocode 3UF5202-1AA001)

Does anyone know what software and cable i need to connect to this unit. Is this the correct method for changing the overload current settings?
