I'm new to plc's, and am starting to learn ladder logic using a micrologix 1761-L10BWA. I was doing fine until I used the suspend command. From that point on I've been getting a communication error every time I try to download any of my programs.

If you can get online then try to clear the memory and start over without the suspend instruction.
See below for how to clear the memory.

Clear Processor Memory
Select Comms > Clear Processor Memory to clear the memory in the online processor image. Clearing memory removes the program currently loaded in processor memory and places the processor in offline mode. The processor must be in Program mode to clear memory.

So does the smiley symbol mean it worked?

If so, your welcome.

It worked perfect. I wish I used this forum a lot sooner. Would've saved me a couple hours. Thanks!
