We have just had a Quickpanel proface fail, I was wondering if there was an equivelant replacment unit on the market, I would rather not rewrite the application as we need the use of the machine.
The old unit is:
type: 0680028-01
s/n: 8503180088
date: 12-96

If anyone can give me any further information on this unit I would be greatfull.

Cheers
Gambit

Have you tried contacting Pro-Face?
I am pretty sure their new products also have software migration capabilities.

I have sent Proface the actual application, but it was developed with some old software and will not migrate across. I'm working on getting a replacement second hand unit now, it seems my existing unit is working but the back light has failed, so if I can get a spare unit I can swap out the back lights or the controller.

This is intresting, I may look into this further, I would like to have a back up plan, just incase this happens again, at least I will have the time to develope an alternative.
