Hi all,

I wanted to know is there any tools out there that I can use to test my Ethernet network? I have 14 PLC's, mainly CompactLogix, on a network and I wanted to check the bandwidth etc. The PLC's are connected to Scada's and I wanted to know what kind of traffic is on the network.

Thanks, Conor

Try a Google search for Ethereal - it has another name now but the search should bring it up.

It's Wireshark now.

OP - do you need to test wiring/switch performance or are you looking for existing traffic?
