Full Version: Cimplicity Alarming

Does anyone know how to re-alarm or repeat an acknowledged alarm on the Alarm.cim screen after a given time (8 hour for example).

GE support seems lost if it isn't in the book so I was wondering if someone has done this through scripting or even using a 3rd party software that would work with Cimplicity.

I been searching for a while and finally decided to throw it out on a forum to see if someone else has addressed this. disgust.gif

Thanks

If the Cimplicity alarm is generated by the state of a PLC bit, you could modify the ladder logic to turn the bit off briefly and then let it turn back on. Turn it off long enough for Cimplicity to recognize it as a new instance of the alrm when it comes back on.

If the alarm is due to a PLC register value or analog signal you could probably do something similar to manipulate the value that Cimplicity reads.
