Our IT guys reimaged our notebook and rsview ME (amongst other things) is now gone. I contacted Rockwell and got a reset code for the activation floppy disk. Does anyone know if this activation will work with the latest version of Factory Talk View ME 5.0? Or, do I need to somehow get an older version that uses the floppy disk activations.

I used to have an old version of rsview ME and i installed the new version of rsview ME. And my master disk still works with the new version of rsview ME.

New version works with old activations. We got new version & new node locked activation file .

But i wanted to test if old activation works with new version or not ?

so i uninsatalled old (CPR 7) set up & installed new one FT View-V 5.0 CPR9.

It works well without any problem.

O.K. Thanks. I wanted to see if anyone else had tried this before I install latest version of ME. Wasn't sure if old floppy activation would work instead of Rockwells new web based activation.
